AT'S BLOG #1: Why I love Japan?

Japan is one of my favorite countries in the world. I’ve always dreamt of going there.
Japan was fantastic. I loved absolutely everything about Japan. The delicious food, celebrities, dramas, language down to all the beautiful temples and the awesome cultures that they have. Just to show you how much I enjoyed Japan – I have made a list of the top reasons to love Japan!

1. Japanese Language is so unique

I fell in love with Japanese language because it sounds cool and soft. I find the sound of it very pleasant, and much simple compared to Hangul (Korea), Thai, Chinese and many more. The sounds of words are so simple and easy to pronounce. For example,

2. Japanese Convenience Stores operates conveniently.
I may not visit Japan until now but I can say that they have an effective marketing that operates technically and 24 hours. You can also do things like pay your bills, use the ATM or even send a package in the mail to convenience stores (as far as I saw in the dramas). Another thing that’s very convenient in Japan is the vending machines. We don’t have here in the Philippines yet Vending machines are even more common than convenience stores in Japan. Most of them just sell drinks like water, coffee, tea, juice and soda. Everywhere you look, two or three machines are lined up to give you everything you need — to quench your thirst. Even on tiny, small-town streets without a soul in sight, you would see the glow of one of these machines and now (recently) a food vending machines, umbrella machines, flowers and newspapers machines.

3. Delicious Japanese food
Japanese foods are much healthier, fresh and look incredible compared to western food. As for me, they look more tasty and affordable compared to fast food snacks we have here in the country. Sushi was one of the things I was most looking forward to eating if I ever visit Japan. After all, Japan is the birthplace of sushi. I think it tastes so good that it makes you cry tears of joy. The flavor, the soft texture, the moist rice — I want to have a taste of it.

3. Japan’s Anime and Manga
Since I was young, watching animes became already my childhood days. At that time I didn’t know they were Japanese anime. I just noticed that they were a comics or visual graphics like Disney and marvels. But I think I’m wrong since I did know already that Anime was so different to western comics like Justice League, Barbie and Disney Princesses. Funnily enough the ones I liked the most were the following which I believe was everybody’s childhood also:

dragon ball z

naruto shipudden

ghost fighter

pokemon go

slam dunk

4. Japan’s Transportation system was fast and amazing
As I had always saw in Japanese Dramas or movies, the trains in and around Japanese cities are amazingly fast and technologically operated. They are very frequent and almost always on time. Train stations are always active and city buses are also great, and you can even pay their fares with the same card you use to ride the train. They also have those Bullet trains that cut nine-hour journeys down to 2.5 hours. That’s what more of the world needs. Spacious, clean, fast, and semi-perfect — that just need Wi-Fi and electrical outlets.

5. Japan’s High Tech Toilets
There is this thing in Japan that makes the country more pleasurable to live. How can you turn a simple toilet into a technological marvel? That’s insane! There you sit down on a warm seat, while music is playing, and have a jet of water come and wash you from the front or back. As far as I saw on videos uploaded at YouTube.

6. Best Japanese Dramas and Movies
JDramas have a lot going on, they move fast, and they captivate with their smart, clean, cool rather, non over exaggeration, and non over acting. Doramas and j-movies on the other hand, as they are known in Japan, seem only to have awesome amazing roles, fantastic script and entertaining story-lines. The best part about a JDrama/JMovie though, is the life lessons you will learn through them. No matter what the situation the characters are in, they will always learn themselves and teach you what they learnt whatever can be learnt from the situation they were in.

So what can I say, Japan had sped to the top of my favorite countries list.
